Important: Drugs in this section should be used only by doctors with anaesthetic training and when resuscitation equipment is available.
Anaesthetics, General (Intravenous)
Etomidate
- 20mg/10mL amps
Note:
- Etomidate does cause adrenal suppression.
Ketamine
- 200mg in 20mL vial
- 500mg in 10mL vial
- 1g in 10mL vial
Note:
- Ketamine may be used as an analgesic in low doses.
Propofol
- 500mg in 50mL (1%) prefilled syringe
- 1g in 50ml (2%) prefilled syringe
- 200mg in 20mL (1%) amp
- 500mg in 50mL (1%) vial
- 1g in 50mL (2%) vial
Thiopental
- 500mg vial
